The Inaugural Diabetic Limb Preservation Conference (SeLPC), held in conjunction with the Alabama Vascular Society Annual Meeting, will provide an in-depth review of the latest advancements in diabetic limb preservation and vascular surgery. This comprehensive conference will offer a unique combination of didactic sessions, providing Continuing Medical Education (CME) lectures that cater to both specialties.
Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of current and unmet needs in the management of diabetic lower extremity complications arising from reduced blood supply and neuropathic damage. The conference will also highlight new therapeutic approaches under development, from early pre-clinical stages to advanced clinical applications, presented by leaders in academia and the biotechnology industry.
This conference is essential for physicians managing DLE, including general, vascular, and plastic surgeons, podiatrists, diabetologists, infectious disease specialists, neurologists, and wound care specialists, as well as scientists, engineers, and R&D personnel in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sectors dedicated to developing new therapies for DLE.

Podiatrists - The Continuing Medical Education Committee of the Ohio Foot and Ankle Medical Foundation reviewed the program for the Southeast Limb Preservation Conference and Alabama Vascular Society Annual Meeting to be held on July 30th- August 1st, 2026. The program was approved for continuing medical education credits toward podiatric licensure in the State of Ohio and was awarded 15.5 Category I credits.
